Dr. Choi obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine with a Ph.D. in neuropharmacology in 1992. Following an one year internship in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, he completed his Neurology residency at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Choi is board-certified in Neurology with more than 10 years of clinical practice experience. Dr. Choi has a broad interest in all areas of Neurology and neurophysiologic testing. He also has extensive laboratory research experience and invented the standard dopaminergic cell line (MN9D) being used throughout the world to study the function and dysfunction of the brain cells. In his personal time, Dr. Choi enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and exploring the Oregon outdoors.
