Melissa Sims, MS, PT

Melissa was born and raised in sunny southern California and moved to Eugene in the fall of 2007 to be close to her husband's family.  Melissa received her Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Athletic Training, Magna Cum Laude, from John Brown University, in 1999.  She then earned her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Western University in Pomona, California in 2002.  Since that time, Melissa has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient rehab with both a neurologic and orthopedic population, aquatic therapy, and other outpatient orthopedic settings.

Melissa's true passion is for traveling which she did extensively throughout Europe prior to getting married in 2003.  Ireland is her favorite place to explore and anxiously awaits her next opportunity to visit.  When Melissa is not working in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, which keeps her quite busy these days with two little boys.
