Kara Weigel, DPT

Kara received her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the US Army Baylor Physical Therapy program located in San Antonio, Texas in 2004.  She continued her education through Baylor and completed her transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007.  As a Captain in the Army Kara was deployed to Iraq where she worked as a PT treating US, coalition and Iraqi forces and Iraqi civilians.  Kara has been specializing in orthopedic physical therapy since graduation and was excited to be a part of the Therapeutic Associates Inc. clinic at OMG Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic when it opened in May 2008.  She has experience working with sports rehabilitation with a special interest on running biomechanical evaluations, and manual therapy.  Kara ran collegiate cross country and track and since then has completed 4 marathons with a personal best of 3:09:52.  She also enjoys triathlons, skiing, and mountain biking.  She and her husband have a 1 year old son.
