Lela earned her degree from the University of Iowa. She is a certified physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

When Lela isn’t seeing patients at West Eugene Medical Clinic she playing tennis, reading, going on bike rides and listening to Taylor Swift.
