Dr. Saxman earned a medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency training at Stanford University Medical School. He is board-certified in internal medicine and his medical areas of interest include cardiovascular disease risk assessment and prevention.
Dr. Saxman has an interest in international health and spent a year training and volunteering abroad in Europe, Africa and Latin America during medical school and residency training. He has maintained his interest in international health by providing travel medicine consults and periodic volunteer work overseas.
In his free time, Dr. Saxman enjoys cooking, music, hiking, skiing and spending time with his family.
