Amelia Carr, MD, approaches patient care through a holistic, individualized lens grounded in evidence-based medicine. She partners with patients to understand their unique goals and life circumstances. Preventive care is central to her practice, helping patients stay healthy for the long term.
A desire to help patients achieve their best possible health drew Dr. Carr to medicine, along with studying and understanding the toll chronic disease takes on patients and families. This experience underscored for her the importance of preventing and appropriately treating chronic disease.
Dr. Carr provides care to patients of all ages, with particular interest in preventive medicine and women's health. She performs a wide range of procedures, including dermatologic treatments and contraceptive management. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, running, and fly fishing.
