Amy Aldren believes in treating each patient as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. She strives to provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care and believes that starts with listening, building trust, and understanding each patient’s concerns. She prioritizes patient safety, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Amy was drawn to medicine from a young age because of her experience living with type 1 diabetes. The care she received inspired her to pursue a career where she could make that same kind of difference in the lives of others.
She began her career as a Registered Nurse in cardiology, where she developed a foundation in caring for patients with cardiovascular conditions. She later became a Nurse Practitioner, treating, educating, and advocating for her patients. Her clinical interests include cardiovascular health, chronic disease management, and helping patients take an active role in their health.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and making time for the people and activities that bring balance to her life.
